Judge Collier's Criminal Docket for November 1, 2010

Medina County Prosecutor Dean Holman reports that the following people appeared in Judge Collier's courtroom on Monday, November 1, 2010, for criminal cases:

Glenda Alfano, 59, of Martin Court in Medina, was sentenced to nine months in prison on one count of Receiving Stolen Property, Credit Card, and one count of Forgery, both of which are fifth-degree felonies.

Mitchell Firis, 28, of North Pardee Street in Wadsworth, was sentenced to five years of community control sanctions, with six months in jail, on one count of Receiving Stolen Property, a fifth-degree felony. He also was ordered to pay his victims $5,353.68 in restitution within one year from release of jail.

Tyler Horn, 18, of Harold Drive in Richfield, was sentenced to four years of prison on two counts of Aggravated Burglary, both of which are first-degree felonies. He also was ordered to pay $2,096.40 restitution to his victim.

Christopher Vanhauter, 43, of Wolf Avenue in Wadsworth, was sentenced to five years of community control sanctions on one count of Possession of Heroin, a fifth-degree felony.

Tiffany Barnett, 22, of Miner Drive in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of Theft, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for January 31.

Adolph Boyd III, 18, of Tiago Street in Cleveland, pleaded not guilty to one count of Receiving Stolen Property and one count of Possession of Criminal Tools, both of which are fifth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for January 5.

William Dillon, 18, of Brookland Drive in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of Aggravated Burglary, a first-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for January 5.

Anthony George, 18, of Dawn Court in Medina, pleaded guilty to the following charges: one count of Vandalism, which is a fifth-degree felony; and one count of Theft; and 10 counts of Receiving Stolen Property, Credit Cards, all of which are first-degree misdemeanors. Sentencing is scheduled for December 13.

Michael Malin, 18, of Guilford Boulevard in Medina, pleaded no contest to the following charges: one count of Tampering with Evidence, a third-degree felony; one count of Vandalism, a fifth-degree felony; one count of Theft, a first-degree misdemeanor; five counts of Misuse of a Credit Card, all of which are first-degree misdemeanors; and 10 counts of Receiving Stolen Property, all of which are first-degree misdemeanors. Sentencing is scheduled for November 8.

Crissy Wortman, 29, of Raglan Drive in Warren, pleaded not guilty to one count of Receiving Stolen Property, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for December 27.
