Veronica Perry, Chief Probation Officer for the Medina County Adult Probation Department issued her report for February, 2010. The report shows that Judge Collier and Judge Kimbler assigned 24 defendants to the Probation Department in February. Of those 24, 13 were assigned to intensive supervision and 11 were assigned to general supervision.
There were five defendants who were given home incarceration with electronic monitoring as a condition of their sentence. Of those five, four were sentenced by Judge Collier and one was sentenced by Judge Kimbler.
Judge Kimbler ordered 10 defendants to complete 24 hours of community service as a condition of their supervision.
Ten defendants were ordered to report to the Medina County Adult Probation Department's Bond Reporting Officer as a condition of their bond. Of those 10 defendants, seven were on Judge Kimbler's docket and three were on Judge Collier's docket.
In 22 cases, Judge Collier and Judge Kimbler ordered pre-sentence investigations. Of those 22 cases, 12 were on Judge Kimbler's docket and 10 were on Judge Collier's docket.
Judge Kimbler referred three defendants for intervention in lieu of conviction assessment. Judge Kimbler granted intervention in lieu of conviction to one defendant.
Judge Collier referred one defendant to the Adult Probation Department to determine if that defendant's conviction could be expunged.
