Judge Kimbler's Criminal Docket for March 5, 2010

Medina County Prosecutor Dean Holman reports that the following people appeared in Judge Kimbler's courtroom on Friday, March 5, 2010, for criminal cases:

Brent Hall, 46, of South Medina Line Road in Norton, was sentenced to three years of community control sanctions, with a period in a Community Based Correction Facility, on one count of Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol, a fourth-degree felony. His driver’s license was suspended for three years and he was ordered to pay a mandatory $1,350 fine.

Kelsey Sheppard, 18, of West Main Street in Spencer, was sentenced to one year in prison on one count of Theft from the Elderly, a third-degree felony.

Anita Yex, 27, of Grafton Road in Brunswick Hills, was sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of Deception to Obtain a Dangerous Drug, a fifth-degree felony.

Steven Fletcher, 23, of Jester Court in Brunswick, pleaded guilty to two counts of Receiving Stolen Property, both of which are fifth-degree felonies. Sentencing is scheduled for April 8.

Sarah Fenwick, 21, of Woodcrest Drive in Wadsworth, pleaded no contest to one count of Burglary, a second-degree felony. Sentencing is scheduled for April 8.

Jeremy Griffitts, 30, of Wooster Street in Lodi, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one year in prison on one count of Having Weapons While Under Disability, a third-degree felony.

Robert Karlowicz, 51, of West 11th Street in Cleveland, pleaded not guilty to one count of Theft, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for April 19.

Susan Stalnaker, 46, of Ledge Road in Hinckley, pleaded no contest to one count of Theft, a third-degree felony. Sentencing is scheduled for April 15.

Michael Slis, 37, of Kingston Drive in Brunswick, pleaded not guilty to one count of Having Weapons While Under Disability, a third-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for May 3.
